[My house selling process was slightly different than most, I'd assume, but thanks to Melissa and Todd everything came together] I relocated to Texas in the early spring of 2022, soon after I listed my property with a different local agency. The relocation was with my company, so I was also working with a third-party relocation company. After six months of the home being on the market, I hadn't gotten a single offer. That's when I listed with Berkshire Hathaway and met Melissa who soon introduced me to Todd as well. The task that I gave them was to try their best to sell a property on a tight deadline during a volatile market. From day one they went over and above anything I could have asked for or expected. Melissa immediately went to work crafting the perfect listing and posting it. Todd was able to help me find a local landscaper to better help with the regular maintenance while I was working in Texas. Within less than a week I couldn't keep up with the showings, the offers, and all the interest that Melissa had stirred up. For the first time in over a year I felt as if the burden of struggling to keep up with my mortgage, utilities, and of course my rent here in Texas had been lifted. The anxiety of the possibility of having to file for bankruptcy or accepting that maybe my property would never sell vanished seemingly overnight. Within a week I was able to accept an offer, and Melissa and Todd began helping me with completing all the necessary steps of closing while never having to leave Texas.
